Turtleman Triathlon
This upcoming weekend the Turtleman Triathlon will be taking place along the beaches of Jupiter and Juno Beach. Participants will ride down A1A along the beach, swim in the warm Atlantic Ocean, and run through Carlin Park. The triathlon is this upcoming Saturday, June 30th with check in starting at 5:30 am.
The triathlon includes two races, the Super Sprint and the Sprint. The Super Sprint distance is perfect for first timers. The Super Sprint includes a 300-yard swim, 1.2-mile run, and a 5-mile bike ride. Check out the course maps for the run, bike ride, and swim for the Super Sprint.
The Sprint race includes a 600-yard swim, 10-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. The Sprint includes more of a faster pace. Check out the course maps for the run, bike, and swim for the Sprint.
Registration is required to join and is open until Friday, June 29th. Click here to register. Race Packets can be picked up at Tri Bike Run (13975 US Highway 1 in Juno Beach) from 2 pm to 6 pm. Note that race packets will not be allowed to be picked up the day of the race. Athletes ages 9 to 15 years old must have a parent or guardian present when picking up the race packets.
Check in starts at 5:30 am to 6:50 am near Carlin Park in Jupiter. The Super Sprint Race starts at 7 am and the Sprint Race starts at 7:30 am. An award ceremony will start after the last finisher crosses the finish line. After the triathlon, a pancake breakfast will be available to all participants.
The Turtleman Triathlon is in honor of Dr. Frank Cook. Note to drivers, A1A along the water, will be closed to traffic from 6:30 am to 9:30 am during the triathlon. The triathlon follows all USAT rules and regulations, click here to view.
