Southeast Florida residents who appreciate art will enjoy this creative display of the renowned Vincent Van Gogh.  The Dutch post-impressionist painter who posthumously became one of the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In a period of ten years, he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of which date from the last two years of his life. This cutting-edge projection technology creates an engaging journey into the world of Van Gogh.

The exhibition uses his dreams, thoughts, and words to propel the experience as a narrative. Move along the projection surrounded in walls wrapped in light, color, and shapes that swirl, dance and refocus into flowers, cafes, and landscapes. Masterpieces, now freed from frames, come alive, appear, and disappear, flow across multi-surfaces, the fine detail of particulars tingle and amplified the senses. Reach a contemporary appreciation of the tortured artist’s magnificent work through his own words which have been set to a symphonic score.

Van Gogh suffered from psychotic episodes and delusions and though he worried about his mental stability, he often neglected his physical health, did not eat properly and he drank heavily.  Van Gogh was commercially unsuccessful during his lifetime.  He was considered a madman and a failure. He became famous after his suicide and is considered a misunderstood genius.
