Visit Your Local Green Market This Weekend
Every Sunday throughout Palm Beach County there are several Green Markets for you to browse and bring home fresh produce and goods from the local farmers and growers in our area. These weekly markets occur rain or shine and run until late spring. Join the community to help support some of the towns best vendors and help our local farmers and growers sell some of their best products and crafts.
Here is a list of some Green Markets going on this Saturday, April 7th and Sunday, April 8th.
Jupiter:
Waterfront Market at Harbourside Place:
Harbourside Place in Jupiter is hosting their weekly Waterfront Market from 10 am to 3 pm. Stroll along the Riverwalk Plaza on the water and browse through specialty foods, fresh produce from local farmers and growers, local artwork, jewelry, basked good, flowers, plants, live music, and more. Salt Breathe Yoga will be hosting a yoga class at the waterfront amphitheater at 10 am during the Green Market. The yoga class is free and accepts donations. Parking is free on the street and parking garage at Harbourside and pets are welcomed on leashes.
Jupiter Farmers Market at El Sol:
El Sol, is a neighborhood resource center located on the corner of Military Trail and Indiantown Road. The center hosts a weekly Sunday farmers market displaying organic fruits and vegetables, flavored oils and vinegars, artisan baked goods and pastries, fresh farm eggs, imported cheeses, homemade crafts, and more. The farmers market is from 9 am to 1 pm. Parking is available at several parking lots around the area. The market is free and open to the public, pets are welcomed.
Palm Beach Gardens:
The Gardens Greenmarket takes place every Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm at the Palm Beach Gardens Municipal Complex on Military Trail. This market offers fresh produce, prepared foods, home-made baked goods, herbs, honey, crafts and more. Live music and entertainment will be provided by Double Vision. The market is free and open to the public. Only service animal are allowed into the park, per the city ordinance. Parking is free in the surrounding parking lots. The greenmarket also hosts the Summer Greenmarket which runs from May 13th through September 30th
West Palm Beach:
Tomorrow Saturday, April 7th the City of West Palm Beach is hosting their weekly waterfront market from 9 am to 1 pm. The West Palm Beach Green Market has been going on for more than 20 years on South Flagler Drive. More than 90 vendors have signed up to join the weekly markets that feature fresh produce, historic walking tours, kid’s activities, live music and entertainment, and much more. The green market is friendly to dogs on leashes. Parking is free and is available in the Evernia and Banyan garages. The city also provides free public docks for visitors arriving by boat. The Market in West Palm Beach is known as the area’s first Green Market.
