Palm Beach County Thanksgiving Favorite Light Appetizer

Palm Beach County residents know how lovely the weather is at this time of year. It is so beautiful that keeping time spent in the kitchen down to a nominal amount is imperative during the Thanksgiving holiday. Intracoastal Waterways Drift Card Study – Palm Beach County

ANGARI Foundation is dedicated to creating a global community that is interested, knowledgeable, and invested in marine and environmental sciences. Here in Palm Beach County, the ANGARI Foundation is directly supporting research initiatives. They will be releasing 40 Drift Cards and ask the public to help. The purpose of the program is to gain a new understanding of the way marine debris moves in and around Florida’s coastal waterways.

Hurricane Warnings are in effect for a good portion of the east coast of Florida in anticipation of Nicole, which is expected to approach within the hurricane warning area Wednesday night with dangerous storm surges, hurricane conditions, and heavy rain with flooding.

Palm Beach County Weather Forecast

Please be aware that Palm Beach County is currently under a Hurricane Watch. Sub-Tropical Storm Nichole is currently located East of the Bahamas. Currently, it is forecast to become a category 1 hurricane and hit the West Palm Beach area. Tropical storm force winds are expected in this area as early as Wednesday morning. 

Please prepare your home for a possible landfall or near miss in this area.  Evaluate what aspects of your property need to be prepared for this storm.  Pay particular attention to umbrellas, fabric canopies/awnings, loose furniture/personal items on porches/lanais and pool decks, drainage, etc.
