2018 Polo Season is in Full Swing!
Last year, the 2017 Polo Season set records for the International Polo Club of Palm Beach, and 2018 is sure to be even more succesful! The official start date for the elegant and age old sport of royalty, Polo, kicked off December 31, 2017. Now in its first week, the 2018 polo season has seen flocks of advid polo enthusiasts make way to the polo grounds for days of exciting competition, luxury and opulence. The game of Polo has long been associated with wealth and status, as a game for the elite, but it is truly an amazing experience for everyone. For Floridians, it is a tradition and epicenter for fun, socializing, champagne, brunch, beautiful weather and beautiful people.
Surprisingly, Polo is actually affordable and not stuffy. You can purchase tickets from $10 and up. The dress is casual but of course with a Palm Beach flare. Guests often wear colorful attire, polo shirts and relax with a day of a thrilling sport, time honored tradition and excitement. At half time, you will get to see the crowds from the stands make their way to the field to stomp the divots, a long cherished polo tradition.
For those looking for the most action packed times while watching polo make sure to go during the finals of 20- and 26-goal matches. “These are duels between the best players from around the world riding the finest horses.
