Next week, West Palm Beach’s waterfront will transform into the popular 4-day musical festival, Sunfest. Sunfest brings some of the biggest musical stars performing live to South Florida every spring. The Sunfest Music Festival starts next Thursday, May 2nd through Sunday, May 5th.

The first Sunfest was held in West Palm Beach in 1983 and has been an annual event ever since. Sunfest mixes musical styles and bands featuring a mix of different genres including pop, rock, rap, country, reggae, indie rock and more.

Join the River Center to Celebrate Earth Day and participate in the Great American Clean Up this Saturday, April 27th. Every month the Friends of Jupiter Beach have been organizing beach clean ups on the first Saturday of every month since 1994 and this month the cleanups are focused on our public areas.

This Saturday the Clean Up is part of the Great American Cleanup. The cleanup is a few hours long and the clean up includes a massive removal of litter and illegal dumping in our public areas, roadways, beaches, parks, neighborhoods and schools. This Sunday, April 28th, the Annual Sweet Corn Fiesta is back at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach.

The sweet corn is grown locally in the famous black soil of the Glades region right here in Palm Beach County. The all-day celebration features a collection of harvest events, live music by the Krystal River Band, a ton of food and drinks, kids and family activities, rides, games, Corn Eating Completions, a ton of corn and much more.

The festival celebrates the sweet corn growing season and all that make it possible and is an event of the Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau.

The Flagler Museum in West Palm Beach is hosting it’s annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday, April 20 at 9AM. Children are invited to hunt for more than 8,000 eggs on the Museum’s lawn and in the Cocoanut Grove. The Museum grounds will be sectioned off into age-appropriate areas so everyone, including toddlers, will have an opportunity to participate.

Museum gates open at 9:00 am when children may have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, engage in Easter-themed craft projects, have their face painted, receive a balloon sculpture, and play the Bean Bag Toss game. The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens are hosting their annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday at 10 AM, the hunt begins at 10:15 AM so make sure you bring your kid on time!

Children and their families are invited to look around the two acres of lush palms and native plants, along the garden trails and among the sculptures for brightly colored eggs to fill their baskets. After the Easter Egg Hunt children can take a picture with the Easter Bunny and cool down with refreshments.
