For the ninth year, the City of West Palm Beach is bringing back a 700-ton sand tree, known as Sandi. Commencing on December 5, 2020 the sand Christmas will feature tree light shows and music. The shows and music will be presented from 6 to 10 p.m. daily through December 31, 2020 next to the 35-foot-tall “tree” in Sandi Land. Santa Claus will pose for photos sitting in a 6-foot-tall lifeguard chair, offering a safe distance between him and families.

A private exhibition of 40 exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces at the new Sotheby’s pop up gallery in Palm Beach. It is a rare opportunity to view master jeweler Glenn Spiro’ high-end creations. The Sotheby’s gallery at 150 Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach will be exhibiting 40 one-of-a-kind pieces from the House of ‘G.’ Jewels typically reserved for Spiro’s private ateliers in London and Geneva will be on view starting December 9 through the end of the year via an appointment-only salon.
The National Association of Realtors held its Real Estate Forecast Summit where several experts weighed in on projections of what the market may look in 2021. The following predictions (re-posted verbatim to avoid miscommunication) are either from a survey of more than 20 housing and economy experts, or the Residential Outlook panel held during the Summit. Palm Beach County properties will most likely follow the predictions. Every year Palm Beach County attracts Winter golfers with its beautiful 70-degree weather and clear, sunny skies. This past week, The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County hosted the 26th Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade and Toy Drive to spread cheer to over 250,000 spectators on December 5th. The parade made its way up the Intracoastal Waterway from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Toys were collected along the parade route by a fleet of volunteer boats, many of which carried uniformed Marines.
The Coastal Conservation Association of Florida had an awesome “turnout” for their 2nd Annual Statewide Beach Cleanup this year by using an online app and a tournament layout.
