Friends of Jupiter Beach has been establishing beach clean ups since 1994.  Clean-ups are on the first Saturday of every month. Friends of Jupiter Beach is a 501 (c)(3) community organization whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally healthy, clean, and dog friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida.

On the average, Friends of Jupiter Beach, help clean up an estimated 500 pounds of trash and recyclables each month.  Volunteers both young and young at heart scour the 2 and ½ mile stretch of beach every month. What started as a few volunteers cleaning up a stretch of beach where they walked their dogs has evolved into “a significant force for environmental care of our marine environment”.

Coming to Carlin Park in Jupiter, March 4th and 5th, is the beloved Jupiter Seafood Festival. The festival offers guests 2 days of delicious, local seafood, cold drinks, live music and fun for people of all ages.

Boca Raton’s beloved art celebration, Festival of the Arts Boca, is right around the corner and its kickoff party is happening this Thursday. The Festival of the Arts Boca offers its guests and fellow art enthusiasts 11 days of film screenings, jazz, symphonic concerts, lectures and readings. 

The Thursday night kickoff will feature a renowned writer, Jennifer Egan. Egan specializes in both fiction and non-fiction literary works. Beginning this weekend and continuing through mid April at Old School Square in Delray Beach is the Fiber Art Show. The art exhibition is comprised of the works of 15 different artists from all over the country. 

All of the pieces you will see at the Fiber Art Show in Delray Beach are in a fiber medium; whether it is fabric, textiles, and yarn, silk and other fibers. The goals of these works are to display the “connective fibers that bring all manner of people, objects and ideas together in a giant, cultural tapestry.” The artists on display here are all in unison with a theme of identifying as “fabricated.”
