Tomorrow, May 3rd the Gardens Mall, in Palm Beach Gardens, and all of its stores are going to be making a difference in the community. The retailers are partaking in the Great Give to benefit the Palm Beach and Martin County pop-up shops and corporate pledges. The Gardens Mall is also donating $1 for every “like” it receives on Facebook during the 24-hour fundraiser.

Coming in December to Abacoa is a beautiful, $70 million medical research center that will combine education; research and patient care all beneath one roof. This mega medical center is known as The Institute for Healthy Living. 

The same developers that created NuVista Living at Wellington Green in Wellington, Florida will develop this new medical center. Beginning June 1, the popular Burt Reynolds Park West in Jupiter will be closing for construction for about 7 months. The $1.7 million restoration will add parking spaces, lighted underpasses, restrooms and more. 

The original boat ramps at Burt Reynolds Park West were built in 1980 and will now be completely revamped and replaced beginning in the summer. The plans to modify the park are definitely going to be a big win for boaters and those who like to launch their boats, jetskis, kayaks and other water sporting goods here at Burt Reynolds Park West.

The City of Riviera Beach and the West Palm Beach Fishing Club (WPBFC) will host the 14th annual Palm Beach County KDW Classic on Saturday, June 4th, at the Riviera Beach Marina.

Their goal is to produce a fun and moderately priced family fishing tournament that promotes the local marine and fishing industry, and benefits the marine conservation and educational efforts of the WPBFC and its charitable affiliate, the Palm Beach County Fishing Foundation (PBCFF). The PBCFF’s annual Kid’s Fishing Day for underprivileged youth and Rods & Reels for Kids are two programs that benefit from tournament proceeds. The WPBFC and PBCFF have been advocates on marine conservation and public access issues and actively support the marine habitat enhancement.
