Tiger Woods fought off a star studded field for four days to win the World Golf Championship-Cadillac Championship at Doral. The Jupiter Island Resident went wire-to-wire, shooting 19 under par in the four day event to win by two strokes. The win was Woods’ 76th of his career on the PGA tour and now puts him six wins behind Sam Snead for the all-time record.

It was more than just another win for Woods, who now has two tour wins this season. His play was reminiscent of the Tiger of the mid 2000s and his putting was some of the best of his career. He fought off a leaderboard Sunday that featured some of the best players in the world, including Phil Mickelson and Tiger’s weekend playing partner Graeme McDowell.

Woods has now won two tournaments (Torrey Pines…

It is almost springtime, and since 1918, it is that time of year when we lose that one hour of sleep.

Daylight Savings Time kicks in this weekend on SUNDAY, MARCH 10th, 2013 at 2:00am.

It sounds so cheery and uplifting, “spring forward”,  but why is everyone so irritable?  It is only one little hour.  Did you know that Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time?  Nor does every part of Arizona – the Navajo Nation does not observe daylight savings time.  U.S. overseas territories of Puerto Rico, America Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands also do not observe daylight savings time.

You could just blame it on Benjamin Franklin.  He suggested it back in 1784 in an effort to save on candles.   It wasn't until 1918…

As the eyes of the golf world turn to this week’s WGC Cadillac Championship in Doral and the PGA Tour’s Puerto Rico Open, one can’t help but notice the huge link these two tournaments have. Both courses hosting these two tournaments are owned by business mogul, Donald Trump.

Trump owns 13 golf courses around the world, including two in Palm Beach County and three in the state of Florida and he doesn’t show any signs of being done. Two of the 13 courses will be featured this week for the entire nation to see as his Miami and Puerto Rico courses are playing host to some of the top golfers in the world, making Donald Trump the newest, big player in the golf community.

In February of 2012 Trump purchased the Doral course, located northwest of Miami. In…
