In 2014, Tiger Woods announced his plan to open a restaurant in what was at the time the soon to be opened Harbourside Place in Jupiter. We now know more details, including a target opening date.

Name: The 8,000 square foot, two story restaurant will be called "The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club". For those wondering why Tiger is not using his full name in the restaurant title, it actually comes with an interesting story. Nike "has the rights to the name Tiger Woods" according to the building's owner, thereby preventing Woods from using it as part of the restaurant's name.

When it will open: The restaurant was projected to open by the end of March. That date, however, has been changed. According to Nicholas A. Mastroianni II, the owner of…

It has been known for quite some time who would be leading the two squads when the Presidents Cup went to Korea this October. Jay Haas would be leading the American side, while Nick Price would head up the International team.

We now know though, who they will be bringing with them as their assistant captains.

Haas announced on Tuesday that he has named Davis Love III and Fred Couples as his assistant captains, while Price names Tony Johnstone and Mark McNulty his assistants.

If that tandem of Love III, Couples, and Haas sound familiar, that’s because those were the three captains two years ago at Muirfield Village. In 2013, Couples was the captain and Love and Haas were his assistants.

The most surprising part of the announcement was the naming of Love as an…

Daniel Berger is no stranger to PGA National. The 21 year old PGA Tour rookie grew up in nearby Jupiter, played and worked out of the Dye Preserve, and went to high school at Dwyer.

At this point he has probably played there more than most of the pros that were in the field this week. But, when he made his run in the fourth round, erasing a nine shot deficit when the final round started Sunday, all everyone could do is just stop and watch.

Berger took on all the top guns ahead of him on the leaderboard and beat them. In fact, he beat everyone in the field except for one (champion Padraig Harrington), and he took Harrington to the second playoff hole before succumbing to a bad tee shot.

Berger shot a final round 64 over Sunday and Monday, the…
