Channeling your inner child will now be so much easier with “magical” seesaws coming to Downtown West Palm Beach.

The interactive art installation, “Impulse”, will bring the joy of musical light up seesaws to Clematis Street from February 15th to March 20th. Consisting of 13 seesaws that project light and sound while in use, Impulse is meant to reflect both intensity and calm. The seesaws will remain illuminated throughout the night when not in use, creating an illuminated atmosphere.

West Palm Beach’s Downtown Development Authority says the installation will cost $60,000, but have a lasting impact on the area and the community’s perception of downtown. This will be the first time this installation will be done in Florida since its debut a few years…

Leaving the house without my dog is probably the most guilt-inducing part of my day. When she realizes I’m leaving, she flashes those sad puppy dog eyes hoping I change my mind. It’s the worst! The good news is, we live in a place where most people love dogs, and besides dog-friendly restaurants and bars, Palm Beach County has a few dog-friendly beaches and sandbars! It may be easy to bring them along, but besides obeying posted rules in the area, dogs do need a little special attention in order to make sure you both have tons of comfortable fun in the sun!

Here are a few tips for caring for your dog at the beach:

  1. Before heading outside, remember that dogs’ skin sunburns just like humans do. Anywhere they have skin exposed, short hair, white…

Referred to as “Golf’s Hot Spot” in Golf Digest and the “Epicenter of Professional Golf” by GOLF.com, the sunny beachside town of Jupiter Florida is the place to live for today’s pro golfers.

The current crop of Tour players have flocked to Jupiter Florida, favoring the beachside town for its warm weather, its absence of income tax, its unparalleled lifestyle, and its prevalence for affluent suburbs that allow access to private clubs and games with other pros.

One of the most public additions to the Jupiter scene was Tiger Woods when he completed a $38 million purchase in 2016 of 10 acres of residential property stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway, but 35 PGA…

In partnership with the Perry J. Cohen Foundation, “Plastic Reef” by Federico Uribe will be on display at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens until May 31st, 2020.

Plastic Reef is exactly what you would expect it to be, a sculpture constructed of discarded plastic and recycled into a colorful and fun depiction of Florida’s coral reef. The artist enjoys creating beautiful sculptures out of objects that were not originally created with the intent of beauty, and has turned a portion of ANSG into an underwater wonderland.

“We throw 80 tons of garbage into the sea a day.” Uribe stated on Vimeo, “This is [my] reflection on it. This is me thinking about the beauty that is gone from coral reefs.”

His intent is to get people thinking about the plastic they…
