This Saturday join a group of Blue Friends and Lynne Wells and head to Juno Beach for their monthly beach clean-up. The beach clean-ups occur on the third Saturday of every month.

The clean- up starts at 8:30 am and last approximately an hour long. Following the clean-up there will be a light breakfast sponsored by Another Broken Egg Café and Whole Foods Market. Complimentary coffee will be provided by Oceana Coffee.

If you plan on attending, you are asked to bring a bucket, gloves and closed toe shoes to help remove the litter and keep our beaches clean. The beach clean-ups are a popular event in Juno Beach because of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the popular sea turtle nesting areas located on the beaches. Juno Beach is one of the most popular sea turtle nesting spots in the world. The sea turtle nesting season is from March 1st through October 31st.

To participate in the beach clean-up, please RSVP to Lynne at bluefriends@marinelife.org. For more information about the event, click here.
