The park has long been a favorite to residents and their kids in the neighborhood as well as non-residents of Abacoa. Currently, the park features a number of lighted courts, fields and other athletic facilities with some restrooms and parking, but now the Town of Jupiter will be adding a new building to make the park complete. 

The $4 million building will span 4,200 square feet and house offices, storage space and a concession stand for park guests. On Saturday, January 24th, 2015, the 9th Annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival will be held at Roger Dean Stadium at Abacoa. It is during this time that guests will be able to try out many different kinds of brews, both local and national.

The festival itself was started by Fran Andrewlevish, founder of Tequesta Brewing Company, and brewers from all over the state agree that it’s not only the best beer festival in Florida, but also home to the largest variety of hand-crafted beer. CNN Money ranks the nation’s Top Ten Counties with the highest number of millionaire households.  TNS Financial Services, one of the world’s largest market research and polling firms, considered  “households with a net worth of at $1 million not including the value of the resident’s home. “ 

Palm Beach County ranked No.9 in the poll with 71,221 millionaire households. Australian professional golfer, Greg Norman is moving Great White Shark Enterprises to Jupiter.  The new headquarters is slated to be a 12,000 square foot commercial office building on the eastern side of Indiantown Road and just west of A1A.  Earlier this week, Jupiter Town Council approved the two-story commercial office building, located on the vacant one-acre lot.

Great White Shark Enterprises is a “multinational corporation headed by Greg Norman.  The company’s interests are primarily focused around golf and the golf lifestyle.”  Ventures include apparel, golf course design, eyewear, and real estate.
