For many years, Jupiter, Florida residents and visitors have dreamed of an entertainment square locally situated that incorporates all the scenic beauty of area, wonderful outdoor living, and fabulous leisure activities such as dining, music, outside activity, and shopping.  Beginning in June, 2012, on the former location of the Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum, Jupiter Riverwalk at Harbourside Place will begin to come to fruition with an 18 month construction schedule.  Permits from all local and state government agencies have been approved for the estimated $144 million dollar project.

Local philanthropists with big hearts and big sport fishing boats headed out to improve the quality of life of others by participating in the HMY Winner’s Circle Charity Invitational hosted by, Philadelphia Phillies Hall of Fame third baseman,  Mike Schmidt.  Entry fees, part of which are tax deductable ranged from $3,000 - $25,000, for honorary chair, for four anglers, and also received four tickets to the annual Rock-n-Reel Gala held at the Admiral’s Cove Country Club.  Several of local Jupiter area residents are participating in the fishing tournament. Tiger Woods 2nd in Honda ClassicTiger Woods, whose resurgence on the PGA Tour manifested itself on the final day of The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, has called South Florida home for about a year.


The famous duffer lives in a brand-new, custom-built mansion on Jupiter Island – complete with a 3.5-acre, four-hole practice facility in the back yard. The $54.5 million piece of property spans the narrow island and encompasses 12 acres.
Woods finished in second place at The Honda Classic at 10-under par and shot a personal best of 62 in the fourth round. Fellow Jupiter resident Tom Gillis tied Woods, and the two split the second-place purse.

Rickie Fowler Finisher in Honda ClassicJupiter resident Rickie Fowler, who tied for seventh place in The Honda Classic at PGA National on March 4, sits as one of three, top-10 finishers who call northern Palm Beach County home.


Fowler entered the clubhouse at 6-under par with a final-round score of 66. He tied Dicky Pride.


Fowler’s home sits along serene Loxahatchee Riverfront with access to both the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean. A boat cruise would take him past the homes of fellow pros Mark Calcavecchia, Steve Marino and Camilo Villegas, as well as former NFL great Joe Namath.
