October is National Pizza Month.  Pizza Today Magazine decided to dedicate a month to pizza and chose October. Many people in Palm Beach County must enjoy pizza by the number of pizza places in the county!

Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in A.D. 997 in Gaeta and successively in different parts of Central and Southern Italy. Pizza was mainly eaten in Italy and brought to the United States by emigrants from there.

Palm Beach County is home to plenty of great places to stop by and grab a pizza.  Check out any of the eateries for some of the fantastic pizza and you are sure to be satisfied...
