Enjoy the upscale tropical island setting of the Sailfish Marina and the Sunset Celebration, on Singer Island, you will find the premier weekly arts and crafts show of the Palm Beaches. On any Thursday evening from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, you may find wood sculpture, pottery, watercolors, blown glass, gold and silver jewelry, and much, much more from more than 30 different artists.

Musicians play island tunes on guitar and steel drum, and patrons can buy their famous “grouper dogs” (fried grouper in a hotdog bun) or conch fritters right on the dock. The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation has been building reefs off the Jupiter coastline for several years. The Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet on June 8, 2014. The foundation’s work will help assure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment where Andrew loved to dive and fish.

The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation began a significant education initiative in 2018. The goal was to donate a 5-book set of the “Professor Clark the Science Shark” series to every third-grade classroom in Florida, 55,000 books in all!  As you can imagine that goal has been met and enthusiastically received!!

The cost of homes has climbed sharply. Palm Beach did NOT make the top ten most expensive zip codes. Southeast Florida is an affordable paradise to call home. The top ten most expensive zip codes in the United States all have median home prices of more than $4 million, according to a report from Property Shark.

Of the 100 top priciest zip codes, 30 have median prices of over $3 million, more than twice the number of areas at that price last year.  The top two are:

Young Friends of Jupiter Beach is back and actively serving the Jupiter community.  On the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM, local are students gather at Ocean Cay Park for Students from local and neighboring high schools are invited to join the group for a beach cleanup. These students are earning volunteer hours for school as well as helping keep Jupiter beaches clean.

These budding, philanthropic environmentalists are becoming the next generation of emerging environmental stewards, preserving Jupiter’s beaches, habitat, and marine life for future generations. Take the family and get out for a night under the stars with a FREE movie. Friday night family-friendly flicks will be shown at the Screen on the Green at Waterfront Commons, 101 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

On the second Friday of every month, the City of West Palm Beach sets up an open-air theater. The Screen on the Green series features family activities and movies overlooking the spectacular waterfront of downtown West Palm Beach.  It is time to change the clocks Southeast Floridians.  Simple question, when does daylight savings start? When does daylight savings end?  Maybe, you wonder How Many Days till Daylight Savings 2021?  When do we Fall Back in 2021?

Here is just a friendly reminder of this weekend's time change. Remember to set your clocks back one hour. Currently, most of the United States begins Daylight Savings at exactly 2:00 am on the 2nd Sunday in March. Daylight Savings then reverts to Standard Time on the 1st Sunday in November which answers the question when do we Fall Back? 

Make sure to set the clock back one hour on November 7, 2021, at 2:00 am.  It will get darker earlier in the evening, and the sun will rise bright earlier.
