Every year Palm Beach County attracts Winter golfers with its beautiful 70-degree weather and clear, sunny skies. With its more than 150 public and private golf courses, Palm Beach County is known as the Golf Capital of the World. Unlike much of the rest of the country, PBC residents aren’t currently locked up indoors, waiting for the sun to return. We are just as active now as we are throughout the rest of the year.

The Palm Beaches have a lot to offer in the Winter. Salt and freshwater enthusiasts, for example, enjoy some of the best fishing in North America. Polo and equestrian events, including the World Cup and Winter Equestrian Festival, are particularly popular this time of year, draw large crowds and international celebrities. Our mild, cool…

The cleanup is run similar to a fishing tournament, but instead of submitting fish, participants submit their trash collections!

The event was managed through the iAngler Tournament App and website, and for each 5 gallon bucket of trash uploaded, participants received one entry for raffle prizes including Costa Sunglasses, Academy Sports + Outdoors Gift Cards and American Express Gift Cards provided by CCA Florida and iAngler.

The event involved 98 total participants for one week straight, and was available in the entire state of Florida. Individuals could choose which…

Finance titan Goldman Sachs is on the move and Palm Beach County could very well be its final destination. It has been widely reported that Goldman Sachs will be moving an $8 billion dollar division of its company to the sunshine state.

The report comes after many major companies have fled the high taxes and clustered New York City work places, many of which have since set up in South Florida. Billionaire Paul Singer recently set up his $41 billion dollar hedge fund in West Palm Beach and fellow billionaire investor Carl Icahn recently made his move to Miami.

Florida offers plenty of obvious advantages for business looking for an escape from the Northeast, especially this time of year. The sunshine, sandy beaches and incomparable tropical lifestyle…

It is farmers market season again in Palm Beach County, and there is one opening this weekend in Jupiter. This weekend marks the start of the season for J-Town Farmers Market. Previously known as the Jupiter Markers Market at El Sol.  The market will be open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the end of April at the El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center parking lot, 106 Military Trail in Jupiter.

The community garden coordinator at El Sol, selected longtime Jupiter resident, Cliff Ross, to run the event. Ross wants to attract local vendors, mainly because the market is in what he calls the “heart of town”. That is how the new name came into play as Ross thought "J-Town" gave it a nice local feel.

Expects J-Town Farmer’s Market to have booths…
