Registration is now open for the 30th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run hosted by the Town of Jupiter. The 5K Run is planned for Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 and registration is now opened to reserve your spot on the starting line.

All runners are welcomed to join in on the 3.1-mile race along A1A and the beach in Jupiter. The Turtle Trot has become a hometown tradition for many locals and visitors. The race course is flat and goes along A1A in Jupiter. The race starts at Ocean Cay Park at the corner or Marcinski Road and A1A. The runners will start at the starting line and run 1 mile down the road before turning around and heading back to the finish line at Ocean Cay Park. There will be several water stations along the way for runners.

Head to Jupiter’s Harbourside Place this Saturday night for the ultimate Silent Disco Party. The newest and hottest party trend is to help raise money to help benefit the Student of the Year Campaign For The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Silent Disco is a great way to raise money for a great cause and have a great time. During the night, guests will be able to choose three channels of music to listen too. On the first Friday of every month, the Village of Tequesta hosts their reoccurring Food Truck Pow Wow at Constitution Park.

The giant outdoor picnic is a great way for you to gather with your neighbors and community with great food and fun activities. The food trucks will be lined up in Constitution Park and will feature some of the best food truck dishes in South Florida.

In addition to some of best gourmet food, the Food Truck Pow Wow will also feature live music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy and is a great way to kick off the weekend.

Get ready for the 5th Annual Palm Beach PaddleFest is back this weekend. The family-friendly event is taking place at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.

The Paddlefest event features two timed races with cash prizes and trophies for the winners. The event will also feature a kid’s SUP race, free kayak eco-tours, Yoga, an exhibitor expo, face painting, live music, and much more.

Ralph H Norton and his wife Elizabeth founded The Norton Museum of Art in 1941. Ralph Norton was an industrialist in Chicago who headed the Acme Steel Company. The museum came about because him and his wife used to collect items and art to decorate their home.

The couple began spending more time in Palm Beach County when they were semi-retired in 1935. Not knowing what to do with their giant art collection, the two decided to create their own museum in West Palm Beach. Construction first began on the Norton Gallery and the School of Art in 1940 and opened a year later to the public in February of 1941.
