The Town of Jupiter and the Village of Tequesta are nestled between Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart. Both areas cater to the outdoor style, as they wrap around the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway, which provide incomparable views to residents. For this reason, water sports and boating are abundant. Jupiter and Tequesta also offer their share of championship golf courses and pristine beaches frequented often under consistently sunny skies.

Round one was pushed back a day due to a freak snow storm and it didn’t get much better for some of the top local golfers after play resumed on Thursday.

After Wednesday’s weather transformed Dove Mountain from a golf course to a winter wonderland full of snow and ice, golfers returned Thursday to either finish or start their first round matchups in the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. Just like they did the day before, they waited around for hours on Thursday as they waited for conditions to become favorable enough to play as well as course staff to finish shoveling snow off of most of the fairways and greens. It ended up being a one-and-done day for 32 golfers, several of which are some of the top golfers in the world. Here is a recap from day one,…
