In the midst of the upscale tropical island setting of Sailfish Marina, you will find the premiere arts and crafts show of the Palm Beaches. Community foundations typically accept charitable donations and grant funds to a wide variety of causes, such as community services, the arts, education, the environment, health, and disaster relief within a specific geographic region. Here in Jupiter the Waterfront Way Foundation gifted Jupiter High School students a glistening new school bus as a holiday gift following a match-by-match donation. A total of $107,000 was raised for the new motor vehicle.

On select Saturdays and Sundays, The River Center in Jupiter teams up with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” to provide a series of Boating Safety Course targeted specifically to young boaters in our community.  The course is aimed for young boaters, but all are welcomed to learn more about safety on the water.

The course will be held virtually this Saturday and Sunday. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation and the State of Florida requires that anyone who wishes to operate a vessel of 10 horsepower or more and is born after January 1st, 1988, must complete and pass a Boater Safety Course. Once the class is completed, the new boater will receive a Boater Safety Identification Card that can be used immediately.

It is the final week of Spring Training games in Palm Beach County. The county is lucky to be home to four professional MLB baseball teams during their Spring Training games at two local stadiums. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is home to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins. The FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is home to the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros.
