Downtown At The Gardens, the outdoor shopping and lifestyle center is about to undergo a name change for 2020. The Downtown at the Gardens will now be known as Downtown Palm Beach Gardens.

ShopCore Properties, the owners and operators of the 49-acre center announced this December that the center will be changing its name. In addition to the name change, the center will be adding a state-of-the- art Ride Share Lounge, Voodoo Bayou Restaurant and Subculture Coffee. Also coming soon is a new Lifetime Athletic Center, a resort-style fitness club that broke ground on a 3-story exercise facility with a spa, exercise classes and rooftop bistro. New stores and restaurants that have recently opened include Pineapple Kidz, Le Bouchon Bistro and Vagabond Apparel.

The new Rosemary Square in West Palm Beach is hosting several holiday events this year for the whole family to enjoy.

This Friday night, head to Rosemary Square for the Festive Film on the Square. The family friendly event will feature a holiday classic film and will be playing on the big screen. Bring your blankets and popcorn for the holiday classic film that begins at 7 pm on the square.

In addition to the holiday classic, Rosemary Square also features Nightly Snowfall on the Square to take in the magic of the holiday season. The snowfall is a tradition that CityPlace started years ago to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Gather the whole family and head to North Palm Beach this Friday night for a Trolley ride with Santa before he heads back to the North Pole for the holidays.

In addition to the continuous Trolley rides with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the event will also feature Christmas carols and viewing many homes decorated in North Palm Beach with holiday lights.

The Santa Trolley Rides run continuously from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and will be departing from the Veterans Memorial Park, across from the Village of North Palm Beach Library. The holiday Trolley rides last approximately 15 minutes and cost $1 dollar per person or $5 dollars per family.

Climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse this Wednesday for the reoccurring Lighthouse Sunset Tour.

During the tour, you’ll get to witness the Lighthouse light lite up the sky and get a tour of the Lighthouse Watch room to see how everything works. The tours last approximately 75 minutes long and the tours are weather permitting.

The cost to attend is $20 dollars per person or $15 dollars for Lighthouse Members. Children must be 48 inches tall to climb the lighthouse tower. Those who attend must be able to climb the lighthouse 105 steps to the top.

This weekend, head to the Riverwalk Plaza in Jupiter for the inaugural Toast to the Coast hosted by Teach the Beach Foundation.

The Toast to the Coast will help benefit the ocean and environment conservation. Many outreach and learning programs will be present from many of our local environmental conversation non-profits and organizations.

The Mounts Botanical Garden is once again hosting their holiday Garden of Lights event for 12 nights in December.

Visitors can see thousands of holiday lights on display through the gardens and tropical foliage. The lights will illuminate an easy to follow pathway through the various garden areas. The Garden of Lights will also highlight new features including the interactive Stickwork installation, Signature Ridge, Trellis Tunnel, and Butterfly Garden.

All are welcomed and encourage to attend this holiday season. Tickets are available for $8 dollars for Mount Members, $12.50 dollars for Non-Members and children ages 5 to 12-year-old are $5 dollars per person. Tickets are good for any day during the Garden of Light’s 12 days.

This Saturday, head to Juno Beach to help keep our beautiful beaches and ocean clean. Every month a group of friends gather together for a monthly Beach Clean Up.
The Beach Clean Up is hosted by Lynne Wells and Blue Friends and the event is held on the third Saturday of every month. All are welcomed to help keep our beaches clean.

You are asked to bring a bucket to collect the trash, gardening gloves if you have them and closed toe shoes. Following the hour-long Beach Clean Up there will be a light breakfast sponsored by Dunkin Donuts and Trader Joes. There will also be complimentary coffee provided by Oceana Coffee.
