The Crafted Keg is a popular brew pub in downtown Stuart that has cool vibes, live music, an upstairs lounge and outdoor seating with games like corn hole and checkers. It's a pretty fun spot to hang with friends and drink some cold crisp beer on tap, especially on the third Sunday of the month when it's "Sips for seniors."

"Sips for seniors" is dubbed so because pints are half-priced with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Treasure Coast Humane Society's senior adoption program. The senior adoption program allows seniors (60+) to adopt senior pets (7+) for free. Quite a few local businesses support the program helping older pets an people to have some companionship. If seniors want to adopt a pet younger than 7, they'll get $25 off dogs and $50 off cats.

From 1-3 p.m. on the third Sunday at the Keg, many people support the program by drinking beer and bringing their dogs to mingle. Socialized dogs are welcome to the party on a leash, and there's also a mobile adoption truck on site for anyone looking to give abandoned pets a new home.

See more on the Facebook event page here and don't forget to tell your friends. Check out the Crafted Keg's website to see why they're the #1 brew pub in Martin County here.
