Family Adventure Day At The Jupiter Lighthouse This Saturday
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting the first Family Adventure Day of 2020. In 2020, the Jupiter Lighthouse is also celebrating its 160th Anniversary.
Come and spend the afternoon on the waterfront with adventures to celebrate Florida’s history and maritime heritage inspired educational activities. Activities include storytelling, visits from historical characters, fishing, arts and crafts, special exhibits, music, games, activities, demonstrations and much more.
The theme for this Family Adventure Day is The Charlie Pierce Expedition. There will be a costume contest for those who dresses up in their favorite Pioneer, Explorer and Archeologist gear. Come dressed as your favorite adventurer for your change to win a fun prize for the whole family.
Family Adventure Day also allows visitors to climb to the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Children must be at least 48 inches tall to climb to lighthouse tower and must be accompanied by an adult.

Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Location: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum located at 500 Captain’s Armours Way, Jupiter
Food trucks will be onsite to purchase food and drinks throughout the day. Tickets are required to attend. Children under 18 years of age are free and adults are $10 dollars per person. For tickets and details, click here.
