This Saturday, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Family Adventure Day: Celebrating Seminole Culture.
The Family Adventure Days are history inspired education and adventures to celebrate the unique culture of the Seminole Tribe in Florida. The waterfront activities are fun and educational for all ages. The morning will be filled with storytelling, demonstrations, games, activities, and arts and crafts at the iconic Lighthouse.
The event has partnered with the Ah-tah-thi-ki Museum for the day. All materials will be provided for the event. Guests are asked to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy on the Lighthouse lawn overlooking the Jupiter Inlet.
The day starts are 10 am and the activities will go until approximately noon, the Bring your own picnic lunch will begin shortly after the activities have ended. The day is scheduled to end around 1 pm.
The Family Adventure Day is free for children 18 years old and younger, and $10 dollars per adult. Tickets are required for the event. Click here for more information and tickets.
After the event, guests are encouraged to tour the grounds and Jupiter Lighthouse and climb all the way to the top. Children who wish to climb to the top must be 48 inches tall and accompanied by an adult.
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is located at 500 Captain Armours Way in Jupiter.
