Museum Day is a one-day event in which participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. Participants are allowed to download one ticket per email address. The ticket provides free general admission on Saturday, September 18, 2021, for two people.

Please check ahead of time to see if reservations are required or if the museums have added additional requirements.  Please check ahead of time to see if reservations are required or if the museums have added additional requirements.

For a complete list of participating museums, please visit here. These are just some of the local participating museums in the Smithsonian Magazine Free Museum promotion:

-        South Florida Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach

-        Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. Reservations are required. Use BOAMUSEUM to register, and your eligibility will be verified when you enter.

It’s a good idea to phone ahead, especially on a holiday weekend, to be sure the museum is open and participating in the program the day you want to go.
