Fun Activities For Kids While At Home

When you’re at home these activities for kids are fun, DIY, and can be with everyday items already found in the house.  It’s easier than you think, just grab some glue, glitter, paint and let your creativity shine.  

DIY Jellyfish

Since the beach and ocean are less than a few miles away from our homes, now is the time to bring the beach and ocean to us.  To make a jellyfish you’ll need a paper bowl or plate, yarn or string to glue on as the tentacles, and colored paint, pencils and markers to decorate.

Tissue Box Monsters

Using an old, empty tissue box, glue on googley eyes, color the box or paint and pom poms to create your own little tissue box monsters.

Make Slime

You’ll need two bottles of glue, glitters, food coloring, 1 tsp of baking soda and 2 to 3 tsp of contact solution or saline. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and start to get slimey.
