Harid Conservatory’s Spring Performance
Two very well known ballet performances are coming to the Countess de Hoernle Theater in Boca Raton, “La Bayadere” and “Raymonda.”
French choreographer, Marius Petipa, created these two revolutionary performances and the St. Petersburg based ballet, the Imperial Ballet. But now you do not have to travel all the way to St. Petersburg, you may see these recitals right here in south Florida performed by the world renowned Harid Conservatory. Tales of “Crimes of passion, spiritual visitations, deadly duels and opium-inspired dreams are just a few of the plots” you will see translated by the beauty of ballet in these performances.
“La Bayadere” and “Raymonda,” are two theater beloveds from the classical period that deliver the upmost in splendor. at this showcase of the graduating class of our world-class Harid Conservatory. Harid’s ballerinas will perform excerpts from “Raymonda” and “La Bayadere” to Petipa’s original choreography, yet they will add modern moves as well to mix the classic with the contemporary.
The performances take place at the Countess de Hoernle Theater, 5100 Jog Road, Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Ticket prices range from $25 to $30.
