This month, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular Hike Through History event this Saturday, September 7th.

Come and join the staff and hike through the 120 plus acres of the Lighthouse Natural Conservation Area to learn about the history of the historic site, the nature and the Lighthouse. The hike is roughly about 2 miles. The historic site is just one of three naturals sites in the United States and the site is protected by the Bureau of Land Management’s Natural Conservation Land Programs.

The hike is occurring this Saturday, September 7th at 8:30 am. The hike meets at the Lighthouse Flagpole and approximately last about 2 hours. The hike is open to those 5 years old and older, those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Proper hiking attire is required: hiking footwear, active wear, a hat, and water bottle are encouraged. The tours are weather dependent.

The hike is free to attend but you are asked to register your space due to limited space. Click here to learn more information and to register.
