Save the date for this Thursday, December 5th to celebrate to kick off to the holidays with the lighting of Sandi the Sand Christmas Tree and Clematis By Night.
After month of preparation, Sandi, the world’s only and West Palm Beach’s 700-ton sand tree will be ready to make its holiday season debut. The holiday festivities will begin around 6 pm this Thursday night. The 35-foot tall tree is part of the city’s Holiday in Paradise campaign that aims to bring merriment and cheer this holiday season.
Returning activities this year include Snowieville, Sandi’s Dressing Room, and Glow Fore It Mini Golf. Other holiday activities include shopping at Sandi’s Boutique, mailing your Christmas Wish List to Santa, Clematis By Night music event on Thursday nights, and West Palm Beach’s Green Markets on Saturday mornings.
In addition to the tree lighting, the city is also hosting their Clematis By Night event. The night will include musical performances by the A Capella group Generation Gap, amazing sidewalk shopping and mouth-watering food specials and discounts at one of the participating restaurants. The music will begin around 6 pm on the waterfront.
Sandi the sand Christmas Tree will be on display at the Waterfront Commons in Downtown West Palm Beach until December 31st. All events are free to attend. For more information, click here to visit their website.
