Indoor Activities in Palm Beach County
If you’re looking for something to do indoors, there are plenty of activities in Palm Beach County for all ages.
The South Florida Science Center in West Palm Beach is the perfect place for kids. The Center has new exhibits that feature some of the world’s recently discovered and most unique dinosaurs. The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium’s goals is to open every mind to science through the numerous events and exhibits held at the center. General admission tickets are required for adults and children, children under 3 years old are free. The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is located at 4801 Dreher Trail N in West Palm Beach.
Monkey Joe’s in Lake Worth is the perfect place for kids to jump around for hours in their giant indoor playground. The indoor playground features wall-to-wall inflatable slides, jumps, an obstacle course, and an arcade. Socks are required and must be worn in the play areas at all times. Admission is $10.99 for children ages 12 and under, adults are free. Monkey Joe’s is located at 6250 Lantana Road in Lake Worth.
Palm Beach Zoo located in West Palm Beach offers a rainy-day discount of 50% off its regular admission if you are up for getting a little wet. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society houses more than 550 animals, many are endangered throughout their 23 acres of tropical habitat in Dreher Park. The Zoo is located at 1301 Summit Boulevard in West Palm Beach.
Silverball Museum in Delray Beach is not your typical museum. Silverball is an interactive museum filled with classic pinball machines and arcade games that date back to the 1930’s. The museum also has an original Coney Island Skee-Ball, shuffleboard, and a full bar and restaurant. All games are free with an entry pass and the passes start at $12 dollars for 1 hour of play. Silverball Museum is located at 19 NE Third Avenue in Delray Beach.
