January Events At The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse sits on top of a grassy mount overlooking Jupiter and the Inlet. The red lighthouse has been a part of Jupiter’s culture since it began construction in 1853. Today the lighthouse is open 7 days a week and hosts a series of events throughout the week.

Here is a list of events happening at the lighthouse this January.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour: Wednesday, January 16th, January 23rd, and January 30th
Visitors can climb to the top of the lighthouse and take in the wonderful views while watching the light turn on to brighten the sky. You’ll also be able to tour the lighthouse watch room to see how everything works. The tour is approximately 75 minutes and costs $20 dollars per person and $15 dollars for Lighthouse members. The tours are weather permitting, so be sure to check their website for more information. The tours start at 5:15 pm on January 16th and 23rd and at 5:30 pm on January 30th.

Family Adventure Day: Fishing 101: Saturday, January 19th
The new program is part of the lighthouse’s new Family Adventure Day Series. The event will feature family filled activities, arts and crafts, educational events, learning how to fish, and much more. The day starts at 10 am to 1 pm, with a bring your own picnic lunch at 12 pm. Tickets are $10 dollars for adults and children are free.

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour: Monday, January 21st
Visitors get to experience the spectacular views of the full moon from the top of the lighthouse. The tour is approximately 75 minutes long and tours are weather permitting. Tickets are $20 dollar per person or $15 dollars for Lighthouse members. The tour starts at 5:15 pm.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Monday, January 21st, and January 28th
Come and experience yoga on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset every Monday with Mary Veal. The class is for all levels of yoga and all are welcomed to attend. The class is $10 dollars per person and guests are asked to bring their own yoga mat, a water bottle and a flash light. The class meets 10 minutes before the class starts at the Museum. Yoga is weather permitting so be sure to check their website for more information.

Children are welcomed to attend all events and must be at least 48” inches tall to climb the Lighthouse and be accompanied by an adult.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is located at 500 Captains Armour’s Way in Jupiter.
