2015's Housing Market Predictions and Estimates

Predictions for the housing market in Palm Beach County for 2015 resemble the trends we saw in 2014. In 2014’s market the year began with double-digit price surges and a lack of inventory but it quickly steadied and leveled out. The local housing market is kicking off the New Year with substantial price increases, scarce inventory levels and bidding battles between buyers much like last year’s trend. However, experts and analysts are expecting this boom to stabilize at some point mid-year. These experts are calling this year’s market trends “the first full year of normal following a decade of extremes.”

FISHING FORECAST 1.9.15

South Florida has taken over some higher pressure and the NOAA weather is expecting gusts to be northeast to east at 15-20 knots throughout the weekend.

OFFSHORE- It has been a tough week offshore for anglers, however many fishing teams have been going offshore to practice for The Silver Sailfish Derby. Some reports of a few sailfish and a handful of dolphin were seen this week from 150’-350’ of water. Around the time of the full moon, a few wahoo were reported and caught. The best bite offshore this  week has been from fishing on the bottom, yellowtail and mangrove snappers were most popular pulling up, in about 70-90’ of water.

GREG NORMAN moving GREAT WHITE SHARK ENTERPRISES to JUPITER

Australian professional golfer, Greg Norman is moving Great White Shark Enterprises to Jupiter.  The new headquarters is slated to be a 12,000 square foot commercial office building on the eastern side of Indiantown Road and just west of A1A.  Earlier this week, Jupiter Town Council approved the two-story commercial office building, located on the vacant one-acre lot.

Great White Shark Enterprises is a “multinational corporation headed by Greg Norman.  The company’s interests are primarily focused around golf and the golf lifestyle.”  Ventures include apparel, golf course design, eyewear, and real estate.

Pablo Picasso is arguably one of the most recognized artists of our times.  Picasso had two wives and many mistresses.  He loved women. He was notorious for always having a beautiful woman with him.  Behind every artist, there is a muse.
