Jupiter is home to one of the very few remaining dog- friendly beaches in the state and the only one in Palm Beach County.

The Jupiter Town Council adopted the policy to allow dogs on the beach back in 1989. Since then, the dog- friendly beach areas have been expanded to a 2.5 mile stretch of the beach starting at beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road to beach marker #59 at the south end of Carlin Park.

Dogs are free to roam in the designated section of the beach and enjoy the sand and water. Parking is also free, with a parking lot located on Marcinski Road as well as parking along A1A. Dogs are allowed on the beach from sunrise to sunset.

Dogs must be supervised at all times or on a leash while on the beach. Being able to bring your dog on the beach is a privilege and the Town of Jupiter has a set of rules they would like everyone to follow. The Friends of Jupiter Beach has provided free dog waste bags at every cross over along the designated area. Click here for a map of the Jupiter dog beach.
