Join the Loggerhead Marinelife Center this Friday night for their special Astronomy Night series. Due to the popularity, the research and rehabilitation center has added this event to their calendar every month.

Astronomy Night is based on the activity in the nights sky. During the night you’ll get a chance to learn about the planets and the stars. The series will also include information about the sky’s glow and touch lightly on pollution. The main goal of the night is to promote and increase the awareness of our impact on the environment.

The event will start tomorrow Friday, February 22nd at 6:30 pm and continue until around 9 pm. The night will begin with a seminar led by the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches that will highlight the current nights sky. Visitors will even get a chance to look through a telescope and binoculars for a closer look at the sky.

The event cost $10 dollars a person and is geared toward ages 8 years old and older. Click here to register your spot.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is located at 14200 US Highway One in Juno Beach.
