This Saturday, August 3rd, the Jupiter Medical Center is hosting their Loggerhead Triathlon at Carlin Park in Jupiter. The race starts at 7 am and the race will include a 3/8th mile ocean swim, 13-mile flat bike ride, and a flat 3.1-mile run.

The Jupiter Medical Loggerhead Triathlon is one of the longest enduring triathlons in Florida. The event dates back to 1985 and people from all over the county and state come to Jupiter to participate in the event. The event has become a must do event for the southeast race circuit in the United States. The triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event.

Awards will be given to the Top 3 overall finishers in each division. Registration is required to participate in the Triathlon, there will be no Race Day registration. The cost is $100 dollars per individual or $150 dollars per relay team. To register, click here.

During the event, A1A along the beach will be closed to traffic to allow for the Triathlon to take place.
