Norton Museum Expansion Opening Soon
The new expansion for the Norton Museum is set to unveil its $100 million-dollar expansion on February 9th. The expansion will have 37 percent more gallery space and the architect is the same man, Lord Norman Foster, that designed the Apple headquarters in California.

The museum is located at 1450 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.Â
Beginning at 10 am on Saturday, February 9th, the new expansion will be open to the public. There will be an opening parade featuring puppets and ornaments that will be carried by members of the community that will be led by the Florida Atlantic University’s Parliament Sound Pep Band.
In addition to the expansion, The Pamela and Robert B Goergen Garden will feature more than a dozen sculptures. The Ruth and Carl Shapiro Great Hall will serve as the museums living room and community space, allowing guests to relax during their visit to the museum. Other new features to the expansion include The William Randolph Hearst Education Center features a gallery for student art and additional classrooms for adults, families and children.
