The Palm Beach International Airport has been ranked one of the Top Airports in the United States. The medium sized airport ranked number 8 on the Conde Nast Traveler’s 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards, ranked the 5th Best Medium Sized Airport in the J.D. Power North American Airport Satisfaction Study and the 8th Best Domestic Airport by Travel and Leisure.

The airport is less than 2.5 miles west of downtown West Palm Beach and just a short few minutes off I-95 for easy accessibility from all of South Florida. The manageable sized airport based on studies takes roughly 15 minutes from when you Check-In at Ticketing and through Security and to your gate for your next flight. The airport is also very user friendly and is packed with many restaurants, luxury pet areas, shops, full-service spa, putting green, high speed internet and amenities.

The airport first opened in 1936 as Morrison Field and the name changed to the Palm Beach International Airport in August of 1948. Today, more than 6.5 million travelers pass through the airport with more than 14 airlines and more than 200 non-stop daily flights. Palm Beach International is home to 5 TSA dogs and is one of 30 airports in the country to have its own TSA Pre-Check Enrollment office.
