Sea Turtle Hatchling Releases Throughout August

Everyday throughout the month of August, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting their Hatchling Releases.

The Hatchling Release program is a unique experience that allows the public to learn about the nesting and hatching process of sea turtles. The program is an after-hours program and begins at 8 pm every night during the month. The night begins where visitors can view the center’s current sea turtle patients in their outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital, followed by a trip down to the beach to see a Marinelife staff member release a sea turtle hatchling into the ocean.

The Sea Turtle Hatching Releases are $18 dollars per person or $16 dollars for Loggerhead Marinelife Center Members. Space is limited so you are asked to register to reserve your spot, however walk-in’s are allowed if space is available. Children must be 8 years old or older to attend and those attending must be able to walk up to a half a mile.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is located at 14200 US Highway 1 in Juno Beach.
