State Parks Set To Reopen Monday

Good news for South Florida, Governor DeSantis announced today that State Parks across the State of Florida will reopen on Monday, May 4th.

DeSantis said” being outdoors in the open air is more low risk” from Talbot Island State Park in Jacksonville this morning.  In addition to the State Parks opening Monday, May 4th, some part of Florida can being the first Phase of reopening Florida.  Palm Beach County is not included in Phase One but State Parks in Palm Beach County are allowed to open Monday.

Earlier this week, Palm Beach County have opened golf courses, marinas, parks, and community pools with social distancing and restrictions. 

The State Parks will open on Monday with restrictions. The Governor stated in his announcement that Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection will set restrictions for opening the parks.
