Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, a great way to enjoy the outdoors is by Friday Night Live outdoor concerts at Downtown at the Gardens. This is a free weekly concert series with a great line-up. This week, "The KillBilles" are playing their blend of folk jams with a punk attitude.

The Downtown at the Gardens hosts a weekly Friday night concert in the Centre Court from 6 pm to 9 pm. 

The free weekly concert features everything from jazz, rock n’ roll, pop, R&B, hip hop, country, and everything in between. The bands are a musical lineup of local and regional bands. Seating is provided in Centre Court for the concerts.

The next Concert in the Court is this upcoming Friday, March 1st at 6 pm. The musical group this week is “On the Roxx” that play everything rock, pop, Disco, 80’s, Motown, and dance music. Click here to check out their Facebook page.

This Wednesday, February 27th the Downtown at the Gardens is hosting their monthly Kids Crawl.

Families are invited to attend and enjoy a fun-fill afternoon filled with activities for children and families, free carousel rides, arts and crafts, games, retailer promotions, and much more. Every month there is a different theme with plenty of new surprises and fun.

This month the theme for the Kids Crawl is sea-themed with the help of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a sea turtle research and rehabilitation center located in Juno Beach.

The event starts at 11 am this Wednesday and last until about 1 pm in the Carousel Court of the Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens.

To many parents’ delight, the summer of 2018 is coming to an end, and Downtown a the Gardens is throwing an End of Summer Bash on Saturday, August 18th from 11 AM to 2 PM.

In addition to the permanent merry-go-round, carnival treats will be abundant, as well as games, music, stilt walkers, and jugglers.

Admission is free when you bring a school supply donation to the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.

If you’re ready to spice things up New Orleans style, you’re in luck. The same husband-and-wife team that brought us Calaveras Cantina in Jupiter is planning to open “Voodoo Bayou,” a southern Cajun restaurant, in Palm Beach Gardens.

“Our team has been watching the steady rise of New Orleans being a world class culinary destination,” Curtis Peery, a South Florida native who serves as president for both restaurants, said via a publicist Monday. 

The menu will feature house-made biscuits, Southern-style charcuterie, Cajun seafood boils, shrimp and crawfish fondue, fried green tomato BLTs, fried chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, rabbit and dumplings, and wood-fire oysters, redfish, and gator tail.
