The Ylvisaker Cup is played annually as a tribute to William T. “Bill” Ylvisaker, a true pioneer who was responsible for developing the Wellington, Florida, area into the high-goal winter polo capital of the world. Ylvisaker contributed extensively to the sport’s resurgence in the 70s and 80s. He carved out of the unwelcoming, wild and forbidding marsh on the edge of the Florida Everglades and created the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club. The Palm Beach Masters

The 2019 Palm Beach Masters is the ultimate horse show and features three events between January and March. The Master series features international show jumping combined with a social scene to bring the horse shows to the next level. The three events take place at the Deeridge Farms in Wellington.

This year, the series has added another new event, called the Nations Cup which includes eight nations competing against each other, similar to the Olympic Games format.

The Deeridge Farms is a 300-acre facility that has been in the Jacobs Family for more than four decades. The main focal point of the farms is its exquisite grass fields and their state-of-the-art arena, perfect for all weather conditions.

The Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington hosts the world’s premier winter equestrian event which lasts from now until March 31st. The competition offers events for children, junior, adult amateur, and professional equestrians in 70 unique divisions.

Country Festival to Benefit Rescued Horses

The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation (ERAF) invites you to join the 3rd Annual Country Festival presented by Infiniti Stuart.

The festival will feature fun for the whole family including pony rides, barn tours, trick-or-treating, live music by the Samantha Russel Band, a dance demonstration by the Cactus Moon Dance Club, and food made by the Martin County Sherriff’s Office Grill Team. Food is courtesy of Corner Café Tequesta, and beer is provided by Hop Life Brewing Company.

Entry is $3 a person, and all proceeds benefit the rescue horses of Equine Rescue & Adoption Foundation.

The festival will take place on Sunday, October 21st 12-4pm at 6400 SW Martin Hwy in Palm City, Florida.
