Family Fun Day

The Lakeside Family Fun Day is set to happen on Saturday, Dec. 15 on Lake Wellington, located behind the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.). The event will feature a variety of free activities for the entire family to enjoy between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., including kayaking, paddle boarding, a bounce house, a rock wall, glitter tattoos, lawn games, fishing, Plaster Time Crafts and more. Try goat yoga between 9 a.m. and noon and take photos with Santa between 10 a.m. and noon.

The Delray Beach Jingle Bell Jog 5K is an annual running event that champions all things associated with the festive winter holidays. Jingle Bells, Santa, Mistletoe, Egg Nog, Reindeer, Elves! The Historic Old Northwood's 31st Annual Candlelight Holiday Home Tour will be held on Sunday, December 16 from 5pm - 9pm. Tickets are the same price as last year $35.00. Check-in is located at 3510 Spruce Ave, WPB FL 33407 starting at 3:30pm.

The Candlelight Home Tour is an annual event that began thirty years ago and draws over 1,400 people to visit the historic homes in this unique neighborhood and share wine and conversation with friends and neighbors. There’s a lot going on in South Florida this weekend, here a few fun things for those of you who live in the Palm Beaches.

Gardens Of Lights

Thousands of lights illuminating foliage around the garden. The Gardens Of Lights presentation was installed by the same company that produces Admirals Cove, and Las Olas's displays. 

This is the first time the garden history it has been open at night.  Since the garden in the flight path of Palm Beach International Airport organizers had to work with them and PBSO to make sure the lights weren't distracting to pilots.

This year marks the 38th Annual  Stuart Christmas Boat Parade, which is being held Saturday, December 8.

The Parade will begin at the Jensen Beach Causeway at 6pm and proceed to Sandsprit Park and into the Manatee Pocket where it will end at the Twisted Tuna at around 7:45pm with the announcement of the winners. The judges boat to be sponsored by Chapman School of Seamanship will be located near the Crossroads. The captains meeting will be held on Friday, Dec 6 at 6:00pm at The Twisted Tuna in Port Salerno.

All Stuart mariners are encouraged to decorate their vessels, large or small, and enjoy some good family fun for the holidays. Everyone is invited to enjoy viewing the parade boats at restaurants, parks and other locations along the route. You…
