Jupiter’s River Center is hosting their Paddle with a Partner Public Kayak Tour this Thursday, May 13th. The tour will begin from Lainhart Dam and travel through the freshwater swamp for a chance to see wildlife.

Bring your addle buddy and join in on the fun with your local neighbors. The cost is $20 dollars per person and registration is required due to limited space.

For the tour, all equipment is provided. Those planning on attending should bring their own water, water shoes, sunscreen, and anything that will make them comfortable in nature.

The tour is recommended for modern to advance paddlers, but all are welcomed to attend. The journey will include narrow waterways, heavy vegetation, and strong currents.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach has added a new event to their calendar this week. Join the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center and their biologists on a local kayaking excursion and explore the diverse coastal ecosystems of Florida.

Kayakers will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as gain insight into the importance of the delicate ecosystems in our waters and our community.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Jupiter Climb and Paddle event this January.

The adventure starts with a climb to the top of Jupiter’s iconic red Lighthouse to see the incredible views of Jupiter and the waterways. To climb the lighthouse tower, you must be able to climb the 105 steps to the top.

Following the lighthouse tour, the Jupiter Outdoor Center will guide visitors by paddleboards and kayaks through the waters of the Jupiter Inlet and nearby waterways. Past events, visitors have often seen manatees, sea turtle, birds and other wildlife along the tour.
