For two weeks, Floridians across the state will be able to save money by taking advantage of this tax free shopping holiday on the purchase of select items for the new 2022 school year. Palm Beach County shoppers will have the opportunity to take advantage of savings on eligible purchases of apparel, school supplies, and electronic devices like laptops, desktops, and tablets. The Florida Back to School sales tax holiday is July 25 to August 7, 2022, when there will be no state sales tax on qualifying items. Students and non-students are welcome to purchase tax-exempt items.

In Florida, state sales taxes are 6 percent or $6 for every $100 spent. Individual qualifying items must be within designated price limits.There is no limit on eligible…
