Palm Beach County's most unique breweries have teamed up with the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society, 1301 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach, in an effort to bring awareness to endangered animals. Sample South Florida's amazing beer from at least 25 local breweries.  On April 07, 2018, Brew at the Zoo 2018, between 5:30PM - 9:00PM, you will have the opportunity to tour the zoo and taste the beers these local area craftsmen have created.

Have you ever been up close and personal with a long legged pink bird?  If not, the opportunity exists at the Palm Beach Zoo.  The impressive Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society,1301 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 has made the opportunity to feed flamingos a reality!

Each afternoon the 'Flamingo Experience' at the Palm Beach Zoo offers clientele an intimate encounter for just $35 a person.  A maximum of eight guests are escorted into a sequestered feeding area where the Chilean Flamingos come out to meet their fans. Touching the elegant birds is not encouraged, but the flamingos can touch you with their nares. Obviously, they don't have hands so they check out the everything with their mouths.

Happening this weekend at the Palm Beach Zoo in West Palm Beach is the “Save The Jaguar 5k Run.” The run kicks off bright and early at 7:30am on September 3rd with a run that winds throughout the zoo grounds. 

Participants will be running for a great cause, to save the Jaguar. “Years ago, jaguars could be found across the southern half of the United States. The expansion of human habitat and agriculture has long since forced them out of our environment.  Now they're only found in South and Central America, and declining there.” The Palm Beach Zoo and its fans work incredibly hard to save these majestic cats. A portion of the race proceeds go to protecting these animals and their environments.

Saturday, May 14th is the annual Save the Tiger 5K at the Palm Beach Zoo in West Palm Beach. Join the zoo in a passionate effort to help save the Malayan tiger. 

“The Malayan tiger is the most endangered of the 5 remaining species of tigers.  It's estimated that there are fewer than 250 in the wild.  The Palm Beach Zoo works closely with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), supporting species and habitat research and protection at Endau-Rompin National Park in Malaysia. A portion of your race registration fee helps fund our involvement with WCS.”

You and your friends and family can enjoy the sounds of live music performed by the Shin Dig Duo and Andre Michaud. Aside from the fabulous food and great music, the best part about Food Truck Safari is the animals! Several of the zookeepers will give educating talks about the animals. You can get up close and personal with a number of the exotic creatures the zoo protects. Ticket sales and a portion of the food truck proceeds will go to the Palm Beach Zoo’s operations. If you love craft beer and a taste of the wild side, you will not want to miss Palm Beach County’s most unique craft beer festival, Brew 2 at the Zoo, presented by VSP Marketing. Taking place on Saturday, September 26 at the Palm Beach County Zoo, this wild and fun festival will offer a great variety of different beers to its guests. 

Every beer that will be available for sample comes from Florida. Some of the beers come from craft breweries within 50 miles of the zoo and some come from as far as 200 miles away from the zoo. It was an important quality to deliver local craft beer to help local businesses and artisans as well as the environment.
