This Friday night, the Palm Beach Zoo is hosting their reoccurring summer event, Safari Nights: First Fridays.

On the first Friday of the month, the zoo stays open late for extended hours for you to explore the exhibits, enjoy the new Nature Pavilion, splash around in the interactive play foundation and much more.

This one is the final one of the summer season and the theme for First Friday is Luau. Those who attend and dress up maybe entered to win special prizes. The event starts at 4:30 pm and goes until 9 pm.

Zoo Members receive free admission to Safari Nights. For non-member the price is $19.95 for adults and $13.95 for children ages 3 to 12 years old.

The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society is a non-profit and is one of Florida’s top-rated zoological organizations in the state. The zoo is located in West Palm Beach in Dreher Park and many animals in the zoo are endangered. The zoo houses more than 550 animals and over 190 species and roam throughout the 23 acres of tropical habitat.

Today, the Palm Beach Zoo is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and is only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Tickets are required for admission and the zoo is separated into different areas. Some of the animals that roam freely include: monkey’s, birds, tigers, bears, alligators, sloths, jaguars, and much more.

The Palm Beach restaurant Maven is adding a new Saturday Summer Brunch menu to their collection. The first Saturday brunch will be this Saturday, June 8th and it will continue through the summer on Saturday’s.

The lively café will feature unlimited Mimosas and Bellini’s and even a special Bloody Mary menu. The food menu will feature a twist of classics including Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato-Cheddar Waffles, seasonal fruit, fresh-baked biscuits, Lobster Benedict, Avocado Toast and much more.
