Known as a worldwide fishing destination with Thursday night sunset celebrations, Sailfish Marina Resort has officially re-opened after COVID-19. 

Indoor seating is available for 25% capacity per county rules, and there is plenty of ample outdoor seating at their recently added tiki bar. Known as a hot spot for Northern Palm Beach locals, as well as visitors in the fishing and yachting community, we can now sip on libations and eat island-inspired dishes in the open outdoors again. In true South Florida fashion, the bar embraces an island vibe with tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, wood-burned fish designs, and enough margarita machines to keep Jimmy Buffet at the dock.

Welcomed by regulars who usually sip on libations at one of the two indoor bars, the tiki bar has created a separate retreat from the busy dining area on the south end of the expansive property. In true South Florida fashion, the bar embraces an island vibe with tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, wood-burned fish designs, and enough margarita machines to keep Jimmy Buffet at the dock.

Bluewater Babes Fish For a Cure is an all-female fishing tournament that has had Floridians anticipating the festive mix of fishing, boat decorating, and creative costumes all year round. Not only has it been labeled the most fun tournament you’ll ever fish, but Bluewater Babes uses funds raised to provide direct support to local breast and ovarian cancer patients in financial need with its “Out of the Blue” financial assistance fund.

The final leg of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club’s Full Moon Wahoo Tournament Series is tomorrow, August 25th, with final weigh-ins at Sailfish Marina on Singer Island.

Centered around the three full moons of summer in South Florida, the tournament began with the strawberry moon in June, followed by the buck moon in July, and culminating with the sturgeon moon in August. Cash payouts are awarded to the top three boats of each full moon fishing day, then a grand prize will be awarded to the boat with the most aggregate weight from all three full moons.

So far, team YELLOWFIN is in first place with 50.4 lbs after bringing in a 24.4 lb wahoo in June and a 26.0 lb wahoo in July,…

This year’s Spiny Lobsterfest will be help at Sailfish Marina on Saturday, August 11th, 2018.

Fresh lobster will be prepared every mouth-watering way you can imagine, accompanied by live music, activities for the kids, a pet costume contest, a water slide, a silent auction, a raffle, a live street painter, a nautical artist, and local art and jewelry vendors.
