February means the return of baseball for many fans. Spring Training brings a new season, new expectations, new players and goals for the upcoming MLB Baseball Season. Luckily for us here in Palm Beach County, four professional MLB teams play their Spring Training games at two of Palm Beach County stadiums.

Palm Beach County is home to Spring Training to the World Series Champions Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins. The FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches hosts the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros for their Spring Training and the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium hosts the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins.

Super Bowl LIV is headed back to South Florida. On Sunday, February 2nd 2020, the San Francisco 49ners take on the Kansas City Chiefs at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Super Bowl LIV will feature a special halftime showing featuring Shakria and Jennifer Lopez.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium along with Student ACES are hosting their 6th Annual Heroes VS. Hotshots Kickball Game in Jupiter this weekend.

Come and watch the celebrity “Hotshots” take on the Military, Fire and Police Officers “Heroes” in a fun and competitive kickball game on the main field.

The family friendly event will also feature carnivals rides, games, live music and entertainment, food from Bolay, bounce houses, prizes, and much more. The event is free to attend, and ride and game tickets will be available for purchase and sold onsite.

Baseball season might be over in South Florida, but the Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter is hosting an event on Saturday, October 19th.

Head to Jupiter for the 5th Annual Charity Softball Game and Kids Fest 2019. The stadium along with many sponsors will host a charity softball game for the Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.

Along with the game, there will be plenty of family fun filled activities, games, food, petting zoo area, face painting, bounce houses, raffles, autograph signing, entertainment and much more.

Baseball is not only America's favorite pastime, but also a popular sport to watch in the Palm Beaches thanks to the fact that it's home to two state-of-the-art stadiums complete with killer box seats. The “Gardens North County District Park” is a $13.6 million endeavor including seven lighted multipurpose fields, playgrounds, walking trails, and a splash pad being built on 40 acres of county-owned land. A 4-acre lake, a large concession stand, restrooms, and pavilions will also be included.

The first phase of the outdoor section of the park is currently under construction on 117th Court North near Timber Trace Elementary School and the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center, and is expected to be completed in fall of 2019.
