Lion Country Safari is one of Palm Beach County’s Top Attractions and is Florida’s only drive-through and walk-through safari as well as an amusement park. The safari is located in Western Palm Beach County and is situated on more than 600 acres of land with over 1000 animals from six continents throughout the safari’s seven sections.

Hurricane season begins in the Atlantic Ocean on June 1st and continues until November 30th. For a few short days, shoppers can save money by putting together and gathering your stockpiles to prepare in case of a storm.

Good news for cruise travelers, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has announced that cruising will begin out of the Port of Palm Beach beginning this summer. The first cruise back into the Port will begin sailing to Freeport, Bahamas beginning July 2nd.

The Grand Classica ship will be the first cruise back in the Port of Palm Beach. Normally the cruise line has two ships that leave out of Palm Beach County, The Grand Classica and the Grand Celebration. Both ships offer several dining venues, entertainment, lounges, bars, pools, a kid’s club, casinos, unlimited food, and drink packages.

The Town of Jupiter recently released information about how to register your child for the Summer Youth Camps this year. Beginning next week, parents or guardians can go online and enter a lottery to register for camp.

The Lottery Registration will be online beginning Tuesday, May 11th through Thursday, May 13th by using the town’s registration system. Due to the reduced camp capacity, the Summer Youth Camp Lottery will only be available to Jupiter residents only.

One of Palm Beach County’s popular attraction is opening this weekend for the Spring and Summer season. Rapids Water Park is opening this Saturday and is the largest waterpark in all South Florida. The water park features more than 30 acres of splash zones, pools, waterslides, and more.

The water park is spilt up into three sections, a Thrill Ride section, Family Rides, and Kid’s Zone. The Thrill ride section features some of the most daring and biggest waterslides in the park with twists, turns, and drops.
